Mobile security · Houston, Texas & nationwide
Two ways to cover sites that fixed cameras cannot reach: autonomous security drones that fly to an alarm in seconds, and solar-powered camera trailers that set up anywhere with no power or network. FastString designs, deploys and supports both.
Choose your coverage
Drones respond to alarms across large properties. Trailers watch a fixed area around the clock, anywhere you can park them. Many sites use a trailer at the gate and a drone for the rest.
Launch on an alarm, fly to the scene, stream live video and return to recharge. No pilot on site.

Mobile security / Drones
A security drone that launches itself when an alarm trips, flies to the scene, streams live video and returns to recharge. FastString designs, installs and integrates autonomous drone security with the cameras, access control and network you already run.
01 / What it is
The system has two parts: an autonomous security drone and a docking station, a weatherproof base station where it launches, lands and recharges. There is no pilot on site. Flights start automatically from your security systems, on a schedule or on demand, and stay inside a geocaged boundary around your property.
FastString is an authorized drone security reseller. We are a Houston-based security, network and structured cabling integrator, so we deliver the drone as part of your full security system, not as a stand-alone gadget.
02 / How it works
From trigger to touchdown, the system runs itself and keeps your team informed.
A sensor, camera analytic, alarm, schedule or operator launches the flight.
The drone navigates itself to the location, avoiding obstacles, inside a geocaged boundary.
Live HD video streams to your team or monitoring center from anywhere.
AI identifies and tracks people, vehicles and animals in real time.
A drone arriving overhead tells intruders they have been seen.
The drone lands in its docking station and recharges itself for the next mission.
03 / Why buy through FastString
A security drone is only as good as the alarms that launch it and the people who act on its video. We engineer the whole chain.
We map risk areas, flight paths, docking station locations and obstacles, and check airspace before anything is ordered.
Our structured cabling teams run the power and network the docking station needs and install it cleanly and to code.
Doors, fence sensors, camera analytics and alarms trigger flights; drone video lands in your VMS and monitoring center.
We test triggers, geofences and response workflows, then train your security team and monitoring partner.
One accountable partner for the drone, the cameras, access control and the network it all runs on.
04 / Where it fits
Plants, substations, pipelines and yards where theft, vandalism and trespass interrupt operations.
Fast perimeter verification for large campuses with layered physical security.
Wide, open lots where fixed cameras leave gaps and patrols take too long.
After-hours patrols across parking, laydown areas and multi-building sites.
Linear and remote assets where graffiti, copper theft and trespass are common.
Real-time visibility for HOAs and large private properties.

Published by the manufacturer. Final design, coverage and performance depend on your site, which FastString confirms during the assessment.
Privacy built in: flights are geocaged to your property, video beyond the property line is automatically blurred, there is no facial recognition, and all footage belongs to you. Source: manufacturer.
A drone-in-a-box system is a security drone that lives in its own weatherproof base station on your property. It launches automatically when a sensor, camera or alarm is triggered, on a schedule, or on demand. It flies to the location, streams live video to your team and returns to the base station to recharge without anyone on site. The system FastString installs pairs an autonomous drone with a weatherproof docking station.
According to the manufacturer, the system is cleared to operate across the United States under an FAA Part 107 waiver. Flights are geocaged to your property boundary. FastString reviews each site during the assessment, including nearby airports, airspace and local requirements, before installation.
Yes. The manufacturer states the drone flies in 99% of weather conditions and uses a low-light camera for night operation, with an optional thermal camera. Published limits include sustained wind of about 20 mph, gusts of about 32 mph, and drone operating temperatures of -10°C to 40°C (14°F to 104°F).
The manufacturer lists a maximum operational radius of about 600 meters (about 1,800 feet) from the docking station. A typical flight lasts around five minutes, with up to 15 minutes of operational flight plus a 5-minute safety reserve, and the system can fly up to about 8 hours a day. FastString designs the number and placement of Hives around your site layout and risk areas.
Yes. The system supports RTSP video streams into commercial video management systems, a webhook endpoint for triggering flights from other systems, and an open API. FastString connects the drone to your video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection, so a forced door, fence alarm or camera analytic event can send the drone automatically.
The manufacturer states that flights are geocaged to your property, anything beyond the property line is automatically blurred, the system does not use facial recognition, and all footage belongs to the customer. Its information security program is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
The docking station needs about 2 meters (6 feet) of clear space, 110V or 220V power and a wired internet connection of about 6 Mbps up and down, with LTE, 5G or satellite as options. FastString handles the site survey, power and network cabling, mounting, commissioning and training.
The manufacturer quotes a standard delivery and installation timeline of 8 to 12 weeks. FastString can survey the site, design coverage and prepare power and network pathways during that window, so the system goes live as soon as the equipment arrives.
It complements them. Fixed cameras watch known points continuously, and guards provide human response. The drone adds a fast, mobile, aerial view that can reach an alarm location in seconds, follow a person or vehicle, and give the monitoring team or guard real-time video before anyone is dispatched. FastString designs all three to work together.
FastString Professional Services, based at 2500 Yale St in Houston, is an authorized drone security reseller and installer. Security drones fit large, open or hard-to-patrol sites: industrial plants, refineries and energy sites, solar farms and substations, logistics yards and distribution centers, ports, construction sites, data center campuses, and corporate or school campuses. They are most valuable where fixed cameras leave gaps and a guard would need several minutes to reach an alarm.
Cost depends on how many docking stations the site needs for coverage, the power and network work to each docking station, integration with your video, access control and alarm systems, and the monitoring and support plan. FastString provides a fixed quote after a site assessment that maps coverage, flight paths and integrations.
Mobile security / Trailers
A solar-powered camera tower on wheels that sets up anywhere, with no grid power or network, and streams live, AI-searchable video to your phone. FastString plans, deploys and supports it on your site.
01 / What it is
A mobile security trailer combines a solar power system, a 24-foot camera mast and a cellular connection on one towable chassis. Park it, raise the mast and it is watching your site in minutes, day and night.
FastString is a Houston-based security, network and structured cabling integrator. We deliver the trailer as part of a complete security plan: the right cameras, alerts, talk-down and response, not just a box in a parking lot.
02 / How it works
From delivery to live video, the trailer brings everything it needs with it.
We deliver the trailer and set it where it covers the most ground: gates, laydown yards, parking rows or crowd entrances.
An electric winch lifts the 24-foot telescoping mast so the cameras see over vehicles, fences and equipment.
A 1,600 W solar panel charges the on-board lithium battery, so the trailer runs without utility power.
A cellular gateway puts every camera online for live viewing, two-way talk-down and remote power checks.
AI video alarms flag people and vehicles that loiter or trespass, and saved searches send instant alerts.
A flashing strobe and horn speaker warn intruders; monitoring agents verify, talk down and dispatch police when needed.
03 / Why FastString
A trailer is only as good as where it is placed, how it is set up and who responds when it alerts. FastString handles all of it.
We walk the site, map blind spots and entry points, and choose the battery size and camera mix that fit your sun exposure and uptime needs.
We place, level and raise the trailer, configure the cameras, alarms and alerts, and test everything before we hand it over.
We connect alerts to the right people, set up live talk-down and integrate with your security operations or monitoring provider.
As the job moves, the trailer moves. We relocate, re-aim and support the system for the life of the deployment.
FastString is a Houston-based integrator holding Texas DPS Private Security license B10559801.
04 / Where it fits
Protect equipment, materials and copper before permanent power and security are in place.
Deter break-ins and catalytic converter theft, and capture plates at entrances.
Watch remote extraction sites, equipment yards and pipeline right-of-ways with no utility hookup.
Cover substations, water facilities and work zones where theft and vandalism are costly.
Add coverage for concerts, festivals and sporting events, then remove it when the crowd goes home.
Fill a gap fast after a break-in, storm, outage or while permanent cameras are being installed.
05 / Trailer at a glance
Published by the manufacturer. Cameras, speaker and cellular gateway are configured for each site, and FastString recommends the battery size and camera mix after a site review.
Choosing a battery: the 6.6 kWh option suits sunny sites and lighter camera loads; the 13.2 kWh option suits less sun, more cameras or round-the-clock uptime.
A mobile security trailer is a towable camera tower that brings video surveillance to places without power or network. It carries a solar panel and lithium battery, a 24-foot telescoping mast with up to six cameras, a cellular gateway, a flashing strobe and a speaker. Once parked and raised, it streams live, AI-searchable video to your phone or browser.
No. The trailer runs on a 1,600 W solar panel and an on-board lithium battery, and connects over a cellular gateway, so it works on raw land, new construction and remote sites with no utility power or network.
Once it is on site, a trailer can be parked, leveled, raised and online in minutes. FastString can plan and stage temporary coverage for an event within hours.
Trailers come with a 6.6 kWh or 13.2 kWh lithium battery. The smaller battery suits sunny locations and lighter camera loads. The larger battery is the better choice for less sun, more cameras or round-the-clock uptime. FastString recommends the size after reviewing your location, camera mix and uptime needs.
Up to six cameras mount on the mast head: pan-tilt-zoom cameras with 32x optical zoom for wide areas, multisensor cameras for 360-degree views, and bullet cameras for license plate recognition at gates and entrances.
The trailer is a visible deterrent on its own. AI video alarms flag loitering and trespassing, a flashing strobe and horn speaker warn intruders, monitoring agents can verify the video and talk down live, and police can be dispatched when needed.
Yes. Video, alerts and the trailer's power and connectivity status are available from a phone, tablet or browser. Saved searches become smart alerts by text or push notification, and the system can integrate with select security operations center platforms. Video is encrypted at rest and in transit.
